We are seeking an HR Advisor to join a leading organisation based in Leeds on a temporary basis for up to circa two months initially. This role requires a professional with strong employee relations expertise, available to work on-site at their Leeds office Monday to Friday.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Use your employee relations expertise to coach and support people managers on all aspects of employee relations.
- Provide advice and case management across the organisation on disciplinary and grievance cases, capability, performance, long-term absence, and AWOL issues.
- Support the upskilling of managers on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Attend formal hearings to provide advice as required and support managers to finalise outcomes that are robust.
- Prepare investigation reports.
- Report on case volumes, case status, and trends, and update people business partners within their regions on cases that are more complex or high risk in nature.
- Support with the collation of bundles and defence against claims where Employment Tribunals arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in employee relations and HR advisory.
- Strong understanding of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Ability to provide robust advice and support in formal hearings.
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the temporary assignment.
