Job Title: VAT Clerk
Job Summary:
We are currently working with a reputable company looking for a detail-oriented and organised VAT Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing additional support with basic accounting and office duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit VAT returns for clients in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate VAT records and assist with VAT-related queries and audits.
- Provide general office support, including answering phone calls, filing, and scheduling.
- Assist with client communications and document organisation.
- Help maintain office supplies and contribute to day-to-day office operations.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of VAT and accounting procedures.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Previous experience in an accounting or VAT-related environment is an advantage.
