Business Analyst - Transformation and Change

I’m working with a award winning software company based near Leeds who are looking for a strong Business analyst with experience within Transformation and Change projects. They create innovative Anti-Money Laundering software which safeguards their clients with industry features. They are currently pursuing ambitious growth plans, while staying committed to maintaining a collaborative, exciting and rewarding workplace.

They are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Project Delivery Team concentrating on Transformation and Change projects. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to define requirements, map processes, critically evaluate, and support solution design, ensuring projects are supported from start to finish.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize, and ensure traceability throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Document 'as is’ process maps, identify interconnections and dependencies, and propose 'to be’ process solutions.
  • Perform thorough quality assurance from requirements gathering to change delivery and provide thought leadership in process re-engineering.
  • Support the Project Delivery Team with governance, risk mitigation, and progress reporting of BA activities.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships across the business, engaging with subject matter experts, development teams, and contributing to best practices and process improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and redesign.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation skills and the ability to produce high-quality outputs (e.g., requirements catalogue, Visio process flows).
  • Proven ability to identify "as is" and "to be" processes, and to model requirements from high to low levels of detail for both small enhancements and major projects.
  • Proactive and flexible approach, capable of identifying and challenging assumptions, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills, including expert listening and communication abilities at all levels, and the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Experience in a SaaS business, Financial Services, or Professional Services industry is desirable, along with strong technical acumen for working closely with technical teams, systems, and software providers.
