2nd Line Support Analyst - On-Prem, End-User

Interesting new opportunity for a support specialist to work in a close-knit systems and network support team in Central Leeds. I'm looking for someone with a flexible approach to undertake exciting new project-work (circa 50% projects) as well as Application, Network and User Support.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for IT and a willingness to remain 100% hands-on in the on-site technology - we're looking for some who is happy to work closely with end-users on a variety of queries and challenges.

This is a 'traditional' support role where you'd work on anything from desk-side support and printer installations through to systems upgrades.

In order to be considered for this assignment, you'll need to demonstrate strong technical skills with:

  • Windows, Office
  • Mac OSX and IOS
  • AD, Group Policy etc
  • Networking (Cisco)
  • Security principles
  • Printers, Photocopiers

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Linux exposure
  • Python
  • Understanding of DR policies and procedures

As this team is relatively small (6) it will definitely involve projects and support, the right person will be able to work autonomy whilst contributing to the goals of the broader team.

This is a predominantly on-site role, typically 4 days per week. No out of hours support required.

If you feel you have the relevant experience, knowledge and approach please send your CV and call Karl Ford at Akkodis for consideration and a potential interview.
