Application Support Analyst

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with a furniture manufacturing business based in the Leeds area who are recruiting a Application Support Analyst to join their team. The role is part of the IT team working closely with the 2 nd and 3 rd line IT support helping them with requests and ensuring the smooth running of a variety of applications. The company is mid-way through a Microsoft ERP migration project, the future candidate will be involved in supporting the project. This is an office based role with some blended in work from home opportunity once a week.

The role will oversee the daily delivery of IT support with a focus on supporting the hybrid Microsoft ERP environment and production systems. Proactively managing the internal helpdesk, ensuring prioritisation, escalation and resolution to a variety of requests. The key duties and responsibilities are:

• The Application Support Analyst will receive all incoming requests and incidents into the helpdesk, fixing what they can and escalating other issues where relevant.
• The role requires outstanding communication skills to effectively guide and advise stakeholders relating to technical difficulties to a high level of customer service.
• As part of the role you will help maintain the integrations and transfer of data across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop business process and system improvements inline with the company strategy.
• Support the continuous deployment and enhancement of the companies Microsoft estate.

To be considered as a suitable candidate for Application Support Analyst we are looking for as much as the below to be shown in a CV profile across Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong experience with supporting an ERP. If you have experience with Microsoft D365 this is highly desirable
• Demonstrate experience of working in a technical role providing 1 st and 2 nd line support.
• Strong communication skills with a variant of stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
• A strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth
