We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Assistant to join our growing IT team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in IT, offering hands-on experience with a wide range of systems and technologies in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day IT support to a team of users across multiple locations, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Help with the maintenance and updates of internal systems and applications to ensure smooth operation.
- Assist with data management tasks such as data entry, cleansing, archiving, and updating legacy information.
- Support system upgrades and software installations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with the IT team on process improvements and assist with troubleshooting issues across different departments.
- Offer ad-hoc IT assistance as needed, working closely with other team members to resolve issues efficiently.
- Some experience or exposure to IT support or system administration (training will be provided).
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows), as well as Microsoft Office tools.
- A keen interest in IT with a willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with databases or scripting languages (TSQL, Python, etc.).
- Experience supporting or using common business applications and software.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile methodologies, or project management frameworks (e.g., Prince2) would be beneficial but not required.
- Any exposure to web technologies or programming (C#, VB, etc.) is a plus.
