Location of the role: Morley
A leading manufacturer that are a leading global name require a Sales Support Engineer to join the team due to company expansion.
This new role would have a wide range of responsibilities, including being able to provide engineering and technical support to internal/external customers on a wide range of products and systems, providing costings, quotations and managing sales orders.
The company are looking for a motivated team player who can become an integral part of the organisation, where there are future opportunities for development and growth.
Key duties of the Sales Support engineer position.
- Provie Technical and commercial support for the sales team and UK customer base.
- Liaising with various departments and providing links between sales, engineering, procurement, production, vehicle testing and others.
- Interpreting customer requirements to select and propose solutions.
- Assist with and generate quotations based on request for quotation.
- Answering technical queries (Phone, Email, Teams, face to face).
- Responding to requests for delivery dates and lead times.
- Become a "go-to" for technical assistance and information.
- Carry out vehicle and system handovers on-site to customers.
- Flexibility to be available for travel (UK or overseas) if required on occasion to customer sites or exhibitions.
