Project Manager - Pathology Specialist (LIMS)

NHS software Implementation - Remote (occasional client travel) - Up to £70K

Market leading firm within the UK looking for a Project Manager within NHS Software Implementation.

Up to £70,000 plus benefits including pension, bonus scheme, flexible working and much more.

Working with a market leader in the UK. I am looking for an ambitious Project Manaager to come on board and lead a plethora of NHS Software Implementations.

This is a new role that has come about due to sheer growth and the businesses performance has never been greater... They are absolutely thriving with several implementation projects ahead. IT is key to their success - They need systems and solutions that will grow with them as a business and allow them to reach their full potential and if they wish to sustain competitive advantage within their industry.

My client has an array of exciting projects in the pipeline and due to this their Project Management outfit needs to grow in order to ensure all Projects are delivered on time and to budget. You will join a fast paced, high-pressure environment where requirements can change at a moment's notice, so we require a PM who has commercial experience of managing medium to large IT projects with a focus on NHS implementations. This is vital for the role as you will be dealing with all aspects of the project including the intricacies of the systems.

Having already had your feet under the table with experience in project management, you will be able to lead several different projects from conception to delivery. There will be numerous new projects of differing sizes including working across different sites and clients focusing on various implementations involved within their pathology suite. We are looking for someone with extensive experience within Pathology as is working across LIMS systems.

The company currently follow an Agile PRINCE2 methodology, and we would ideally like to see someone who has managed complex solutions within health care and someone with keen strategic thinking.

You'll be able to come in and quickly build relationships across IT and the wider business whilst demonstrating exceptional stakeholder management skills. This role is heavily client focused so I am really looking for somebody who can influence, challenge, and engage well with clients and senior members of the business.

In relation to the company culture, it's fairly informal - the team are close knit and whilst they work hard, they know how to have a laugh too! Retention is good, and they treat their people well.
