You will be reporting to the Head of Transformation and will be part of an expanding change and transformation team.Your new roleAs aProject ManagerWorking on the newTransformation programme, you'll play a key role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of priority projects, particularly as we transition to cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. You'll utilise your engagement skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external partners to ensure that data migration and cloud-based projects are delivered on time, meeting defined objectives within budget, using agreed project governance. You'll also coach colleagues who are delivering projects and ensure your outputs contribute to the overall success of our transformational initiatives. This is a great opportunity to use your skills to move the organisation into a position with data stewards and true data management and control which will help us to create improvements for their end users.What you'll need to succeedExperience of project management in data projects with Azure, AMS or Google CloudExperience of managing cross-functional, large-scale projects using project management methodologies and applying the governing principles.Proven experience of implementing change management, including having delivered training, driven adoption and closed out projects to bring colleagues on the journey from on premise to cloud technology.Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and building collaborative relationships, including strong influencing skills with ability to gain buy-in from challenging stakeholders.Experience delivering presentations to colleagues of all levels with proven ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.Excellent communication and solid stakeholder management skillsWhat you'll get in returnThis exciting position is paying a salary up to £61,000 and offers an excellent work life balance including: hybrid working, 28 days annual leave plus public holidays, Excellent pension scheme, flexibility, training, and development opportunities.
