Our client, a renowned luxury housebuilder, is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Quality Assurance Manager to ensure their homes are built to the highest possible standards. As part of a committed and forward-thinking team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining quality across all construction stages, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving process improvements.

Key Purpose of the Role:

  • Ensure consistent, top-tier quality across all stages of the construction process.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Health & Safety, Commercial, Technical, Customer Service, Site Management, Sales, HR) and external stakeholders (Warranty Providers, Contractors, Registered Landlords) to uphold excellence.
  • Continuously drive improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance warranty provider CQR scores to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Reduce DPR (Defect Per Residence) rates and RI (Reportable Items) scores.
  • Improve HQI (Home Quality Inspection) pass rates.
  • Boost customer satisfaction through effective quality controls and collaboration.
  • Increase build efficiency and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure consistent construction quality across all projects.
  • Minimize avoidable costs by identifying and addressing inefficiencies.
  • Lead quality initiatives from the site level through to the business unit, maintaining high standards throughout.

Skills/Personal Specification:

  • Experience-based qualifications with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a quality assurance or inspection role within the housebuilding sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of building standards, warranty provider requirements, and NHBC regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey expectations and feedback.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to maintain high standards of work.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly in Microsoft Office and COINS software.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, future-focused approach to driving change and improvement.
  • Driving licence is essential.
  • Ability to remain resilient under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
  • Organized and well-planned with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Confidence in making decisions and taking the initiative in fast-paced situations.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities and a commitment to acting with integrity.
