Location: Leeds (Hybrid Post Probation)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DoE

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Information Security Consultant to join a dynamic and growing IT security team within a leading global organisation. This role will focus on delivering expert advice and guidance on IT security across a vast, multi-region enterprise infrastructure estate.
As a key member of the IT Security team, you'll be tasked with enhancing and developing IT policies, processes, and security measures, with a special focus on Microsoft M365 security solutions. The Role:
We are looking for a proactive Consultant who can support enterprise-wide security solutions, within Microsoft M365 environments. You'll work across teams, reviewing all IT infrastructure components, while advising on security risks and developing robust policies. If you have a background in IT security or infrastructure within fast-paced environments, this is the ideal next step in your career.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and responding to security incidents and alerts.
- Performing regular security and compliance checks, investigating exceptions.
- Supporting cloud and infrastructure security across Microsoft M365 solutions.
- Ensuring client security compliance.
- Proactively identifying security risks and advising on mitigations.
- Designing and implementing security policies and technical controls.
- Testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans, identifying gaps.
Required Skills:
- At least 2 years of hands-on security or infrastructure experience within an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in Microsoft M365 security solutions (Microsoft Security Centre, Defender, Compliance Manager, etc.).
- Knowledge of security standards like Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence, security incident response, and disaster recovery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
