The Role

We are seeking a skilled and confident technical Principal Cyber Security Consultant to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions. As a Senior or Principal Consultant, you'll lead high-impact engagements, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to business growth, all while advancing your own career.

In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will have experience and confidence in working with bids, securing new business, and interacting with C-suite executives. Your ability to communicate at the highest levels and deliver tailored solutions will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including engaging with senior executives (CIO, CTO, COO, CISO).
  • Lead multiple cyber security projects, ensuring delivery of tailored solutions.
  • (Principal Level) Build and lead high-performing teams to deliver client outcomes.
  • Support business development by creating compelling bid proposals and securing new opportunities, particularly within the public sector.
  • Share industry insights through thought leadership activities to enhance the company's reputation.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrable experience delivering professional services, particularly in the UK Public Sector.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
  • Proven experience and success in bid work, including winning bids and securing business opportunities.
  • Confidence and skill in interacting with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders.
  • MUST HAVE permanent UK Residency
  • Eligibility for or possession of Security Clearance
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable:

  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementor certification.
  • Knowledge of secure development practices.
  • CIISec Membership.
  • Experience with Microsoft M365 Administration.
  • Familiarity with security architecture principles

Interview Process

  • Initial interview with Operations and Line Managers
  • Final interview with the Director.
