Position Overview:As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of a globally distributed IT team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure across the company. You’ll offer both remote and onsite IT support, manage critical systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement improvements that enhance user experience and contribute to the company’s sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert IT support services, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues efficiently for employees across global locations.
  • Support and maintain key IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems like Office 365, Azure AD, and more.
  • Resolve issues with Windows and MacOS ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Ensure systems remain operational by managing and maintaining backup systems.
  • Maintain clear records of support tickets and improve IT processes to streamline operations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in an IT support role, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Experience with Windows and MacOS environments and managing systems across these platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Experience with IT tools such as MS Defender, Veritas BackupExec, and Intune/SCCM for software deployment.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plus.
