Lead IT Deployment Engineer x2

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading organisation to urgently hire x2 Lead IT Deployment/Device Rollout Engineers to spearhead the rollout of high-end workstations across several customer sites in the North East & Scotland.

The Lead IT Deployment Engineers must be seasoned in leading IT Deployments with minimal supervision, be flexible to travel to different sites as directed and staying locally, as per the needs of the rollout programme.

Role Responsibilities

* Execute the laptop/device rollout of high-end and complex workstations efficiently and effectively
* Diagnosing and resolving issues related to the rollout
* Working closely project and IT teams to ensure minimal disruption during the installation process
* Providing technical support and training to end users post-deployment
* Creating detailed deployment documentation and reports
* Conducting compatibility assessments of hardware and software
* Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to meet rollout deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

* Solid experience in IT Device Rollout, particularly with Windows operating systems (7-11)
* In-depth understanding of deployment processes and tools
* Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities
* Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Proficiency in creating comprehensive documentation and reports
* Demonstrable experience as a Lead Deployment Engineer, working with minimal supervision
* Possess a valid UK driving license, with ability to travel (and stay locally) where required
