Telecoms Field Engineers

3mths rolling contract

Telecoms Engineers wanted for 3mth rolling contracts supporting customer sites in the North and South of the UK.

2 Engineers to be based in the South and 2 based in the North.

You will be part of the Telco team responsible for the onsite deployment of telecoms and IT devices.

Reporting to the Telecoms Manager, the team will be required to support the setup and full implementation of the approved solutions, so consistency is maintained throughout the project.

Installation of telecoms hardware devices on customer sites, installation activities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Setup, configuration & Installation

Networking

Surveys

Testing

Troubleshooting (where applicable)

Core Competencies:

Understanding of basic network terminology, e.g., network routing, IP addressing, VLAN’s.

Awareness of telecoms terminology.

Understanding of services e.g. Leased lines, SOGEA, FTTP.

Full clean UK driving license

Ideal candidate will have:

Good communication & time management skills

Excellent communication skills & telephone manner.
