What You'll Be Doing:As a Biomedical Scientist with extensive experience in Winpath and project management, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a key project across multiple pathology sites. Your main duties will include:

  • Managing the testing and implementation of Winpath across two sites, ensuring smooth integration of the system
  • Overseeing the change control process, ensuring all changes to the system are appropriately documented, tested, and implemented
  • Conducting thorough system testing to ensure all updates and changes meet the required standards
  • Collaborating with senior staff to ensure the project is delivered on time and meets regulatory and quality standards
  • Managing project timelines, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively, and ensuring smooth communication across both sites
  • Ensuring the change controls and project management procedures follow established protocols and are accurately maintained
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the project runs efficiently and meets the specific needs of pathology services
  • Acting as the key point of contact for the project, ensuring all involved parties are informed and aligned throughout the duration of the project

Requirements & Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience with Winpath and pathology laboratory systems
  • Strong understanding of change control processes and the ability to manage them effectively
  • Proven project management experience, particularly in pathology projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate between different teams across multiple sites
  • Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 37.5 hours per week. The initial contract is 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
