This role would suit an existing leader or someone with a proven track record of overseeing a team of engineers.

As the Maintenance Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day running's of the engineering department and work alongside a shift engineer whilst being hands on to ensure maximum efficiency of the machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the day-to-day operational engineering
  • Schedule planned preventative maintenance.
  • Mentoring and developing engineers
  • Ensuring your team in the best position to carry out their work to the best of their ability
  • Reactive and planned maintenance
  • Implementation of the stores managing through S5
  • Daily review meetings with customers
  • Conduct risk assessments

The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Team Leader position must have the following skills, abilities and qualifications:

  • Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND).
  • Proven track record of supervising or leading a team of engineers
  • Flexible on being hands on where required
  • Experience of working within a FMCG environment is desirable but not essential
  • A positive can-do attitude.
