A leading HGV Axillary company require a Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor to join their team. This would suit individuals that have worked as an Assembly Fitter, Plant fitter, Vehicle Technician, or Mechanic.
The role would require you to lead a small team of assembly fitters in the assembly of vehicle mounted discharge systems.
Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor
- Ensure that production processes are efficient and meet high standards
- Lead a small team of assemblers
- Supervise and support production staff, including training employees and evaluating performance
- Organise workflow by assigning tasks and preparing schedules
- Maintain accurate records while overseeing Smartsheet documentation
Requirements of the Mechanical Assembly Lead / Supervisor
- Engineering Production background.
- Strong Organisational leadership and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in similar role
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS office, Smartsheet
