Established over 60 years ago, this established engineering organisation now employs around 40 people and produce bespoke machinery & equipment for the Armed Forces and Nuclear industries.
Because of continued demand of their products and services, they are actively searching for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.
Based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M62 and M1 motorways, the successful Mechanical Assembly Fitter will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Wakefield, Bradford, Cleckheaton, Dewsbury, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield and Halifax.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembly Fitter will include:
- Working within a skilled team of engineers and building/assembling bespoke metal packaging machinery
- Fitting & installing various hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical elements
- Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings & schematics
Working Hours of the Mechanical Assembly Fitter:
37 Hours per week, spread across 4 days per week
- Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 16:45
In return, the successful Mechanical Assembly Fitter will receive:
- Annual salary: £31,000.00 (£16.11 per hour)
- Holiday entitlement: 28 Days per annum including public holidays
- Statutory pension contribution after 3 months
- Permanent employment with a growing organisation
