Mechanical Fitter (Hydraulics - Maintenance / Technician)

39 Hours Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 with an early finish on Friday, 3:30pm

Mechanical Fitter required for an industry leading service provider who can provide an excellent opportunity to maximise your earnings with overtime and receive formal training.

You will need experience / knowledge of hydraulic systems, all role specific training will be provided. Candidates will be an experienced mechanical fitter / technician or equivalent and / or will hold a relevant mechanical qualification.

On a day-to-day basis you will be carrying out testing, inspection, maintenance and repair on a fleet of approximately 300 tanker vehicles. You will work within a small team. The work could include hydraulic, pneumatic, and some electrical fault-finding work. You will complete paperwork and work in line with health and safety requirements.

The Mechanical Fitter Role:

• Test and inspection on a large fleet of tanker trailers

• Repairs to ensure the vehicles are in line with health and safety standards

• Working with hydraulic systems

· Workshop based


The Mechanical Fitter Candidate:

· Experienced mechanical fitter or equivalent and/or hold a relevant mechanical qualification

· Understanding / experience of hydraulic systems
