Are you a Mechanical Fitter looking to work with one of West Yorkshires most well known and fastest manufacturing businesses? If so we may have the ideal role for you. Our client is going through a period of continued growth and looking to appoint a mechanical fitter to work on state of the art, patented technology. This role will involve the mechanical fitter using various types of tools and carrying out mechanical modifications / installations.

Mechanical Fitter / Installations / Maintenance / Manufacturing 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with a range of tools and equipment to ensure accurate and efficient fitting.

• Conduct testing and quality checks to maintain company standards.

• Follow health & safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.

• Assemble and fit our clients product range.

• Carry out mechanical modifications, installations, and inspections.

Mechanical Fitter / Installations / Maintenance / Manufacturing 

The ideal Mechanical fitter:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools.

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is desirable.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
