About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Injection Moulding Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Leeds, Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust injection moulding machines, tools, and equipment to meet production specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and optimal efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on moulding machines and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
- Conduct first-off inspections and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
- Propose and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of plastics and injection moulding processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO9001 or similar.
- Flexibility to work shifts if required.
