About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Injection Moulding Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Leeds, Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and adjust injection moulding machines, tools, and equipment to meet production specifications.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and optimal efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on moulding machines and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct first-off inspections and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
  • Propose and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of plastics and injection moulding processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO9001 or similar.
  • Flexibility to work shifts if required.
