Corporate Broker - Leeds
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Corporate Broker with an in-depth knowledge of core classes of business and the carrier marketplace. This would be an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and tenacious individual who enjoys both handling and broking their own accounts.
This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a successful, innovative and dynamic team and to become involved in some diverse, large, commercial, UK, European and Global insurance programs. You will be responsible for the placement and handling of a wide range of core-commercial risks.
Responsilities will include:
- Handling day-to-day client queries
- Prepare pre-renewal documentation and renewal reports for Account Executives
- Handle all broking activities for your allocated client book
- Access to an extensive number of markets
- Manage trading relationships with insurers
Skills and Experience Required:
- A detailed knowledge of commercial insurance market practices & dynamics
- Multi-class specialisms ideal
- 5- 10 years’ experience within the insurance industry
- An effective listener and an eloquent communicator
- Acts with the highest integrity and to professional standard
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask, work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
- Good IT skills - MS Word, Excel and Outlook
