Credit Insurance Account Manager, Salary up to £45,000 (dependent upon experience), opportunities for progression.

The main purpose of the role:

You will play a key role in the day to day support of our clients and the running of their Credit Insurance policies, responsible for your own portfolio of clients and all that entails.

These clients range from SMEs to multi-million pound turnover companies across a variety of sectors.

Duties will include:

  • Liaising with insurers in respect of credit limit applications over the phone and via the various online systems.
  • Review of financial information to allow you to negotiate effectively with Underwriters so as to secure clients the most comprehensive levels of cover.
  • Dealing with credit limit enquiries from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Supporting clients with non-payment notifications.
  • Audit of claims prior to submission.
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries about policy coverage.
  • Analysing policy and market data, producing reports and guides.
  • Managing policy renewals including submissions to market, negotiation with Underwriters on policy wordings, securing competitive terms and ensuring timely delivery of accurate documentation.
  • Undertaking a variety of policy administration including but not limited to preparation of renewal reports.

In order to apply you will need to have:

  • Experience within a Credit Insurance role
  • Client focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients

  • Self-motivated, willing to use own initiative

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word & Outlook

  • Client focused

  • Well organised

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Minimum of GCSE C in Math’s and English

  • An understanding of credit insurance is required is a must!!
