About the Role
As a Billing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient billing operations. You’ll work closely with various teams across the business, providing support in a wide range of billing tasks and building strong relationships along the way. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end billing process, from preparing invoices to finalising payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Manage a personal portfolio of clients, building relationships and addressing any billing queries with a high standard of customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Accounts Receivable and Credit Control, to ensure smooth processing and prompt payment of invoices
- Handle complex billing scenarios and resolve any discrepancies quickly and effectively
- Log amendments and adjustments accurately for audit purposes, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards
- Continuously evaluate billing processes and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and productivity
- Assist in month-end reporting by preparing billing data for senior management, providing insights into trends and key metrics
About You
- You will ideally have some experience in billing or in general transactional finance, in a role where you’ve managed a client portfolio or supported multiple stakeholders
- You will be organised, with a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
- You will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to resolve queries professionally and efficiently
- Have a proactive approach, with a knack for identifying opportunities to improve processes
- You will want to grow and develop within a forward-thinking team that values your contributions
