Our client, a well established Lloyd's Managing General Underwriter, are looking to recruit a Development Underwriter to manange and develop the book of new business and broker relationships in the North of England, focussing on service and trading. Located in the North of England (flexivble), this is a remotely based role with occassional travel to the London office when necessary.

The main duties will include performing regular on-site Broker Visits and Underwriting Surgeries, acting as an escalation point for Key Broker Partners and helping to improve work processes and promote overall corporate goals. You will be tasked with reviewing and underwriting new business quotations across all products within the clients underwriting appetite and deal with any queries within the SLA's of the business.

Candidates must have a proven track record in underwriting Commercial insurance risks, mainly Property and Casualty, as well as showing experience in developing and maintaining Broker relationships, preferably in the North of England.
