Job Title: Existing Business Underwriter

Location: Leeds 

Salary: £48,000

Main Responsibilities

Provide brokers with their renewal invites for all products including RPO, CPO, Retail, Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Contractors, Tradesman and Commercial Combined, in good time.

Work through any renewals queries for your panel of brokers in a timely manner.

Action all Mid Term Adjustments and Cancellations for your brokers and clients.

Large case management for renewals over £5,000 and above.

Act as a referral point for Underwriting Assistants within the Team.

Answer phone calls to broker in a professional and friendly manner.

Operate in accordance with the Underwriting License given.

Make use of the Underwriting guide in addition to senior colleagues for a collaborative approach to underwriting.

Take initiative, within the context of the role, to improve work processes and promote overall corporate goals.

Ensure Group trading entities deliver customer outcomes in a compliant manner in accordance with the principals of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
