Stores Controller
I’m delighted to be recruiting for my Client based in Leeds LS11 for an experienced Stores Controller.
The position is to ensure efficient stock control of equipment, plant, materials and consumables within the Yard and Stores are sufficient to meet business needs.
Duties
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment within the stores and yard area.
• Issue plant, equipment, materials and consumables for collection or delivery, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure stock is clearly identifiable and stock levels maintained.
• Manage stock control systems and paperwork to actively safeguard against loss and damage.
• Conducting stock checks
• Receive and check off deliveries, highlighting any anomalies and ensuring secure, correct, and timely storage of such deliveries in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Full Fleet Management
• Take responsibility for the safety of yourself and others within your team to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and safe operation to protect members of the public.
• Manage Health and Safety and reporting of any issues
Candidate Requirements
• Stock Control experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Abrasive Wheels
• Asbestos Awareness
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• Fire Warden
• Forklift Counterbalance
• Manual Handling
• Vehicle Marshall
• Good knowledge of stock control procedures and able to cover all listed processes
• Proficient IT skills and experience of using stock control software
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to processes
• Would be desirable to have a knowledge of the waste water industry
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 0800 – 1600
Salary
An annual salary of up to £32,500 will be offered based upon expereince
