We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Controller for our plastic filmed packaging client based in Leeds (LS9)

Working hours:
Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch break each day

Pay Rate:
12.50 per hour, rising to 13.46 per hour after 12 weeks.

Role Summary
To provide professional and efficient administrative support and people management to the warehouse management team to ensure internal and external customer service excellence.
Supporting managing the goods flow pipeline for finished goods from production to dispatch between sites.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Administer the booking in and dispatch process
  • Ongoing weekly and monthly stock check
  • Investigate stock discrepancies
  • Work with 3rd party transport
  • Monitor inbound and outbound delivery schedules
  • Manage and file all paperwork to ensure compliance to ISO, and FSC
  • Control of daily inventory checks across Roberts Mart
  • Collect data for KPI reporting
  • Liaise with ordering team for PPE
  • Ordering collection for waste
  • Support with RTW and investigation interviews
  • Completion of daily/weekly reports
  • Attend team meetings as and when required
  • Conduct verbal/ and written handovers as requested
  • Carry out racking inspections when required (training will be provided)
  • Complete near miss reporting

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • Inventory experience preferable
  • Excellent Communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
  • Problem solver and Proactive thinker.
  • Analytical.
  • Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone, as well as part of a large and varied team.
  • Flexibility and excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • High working knowledge of all MS Packages including Excel and Word.
  • IT skills
  • Willingness to learn and a strong desire to develop and grow within the organisation.
  • Enjoy working to deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have experience building relationships and liaising with stakeholders.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to check own and team work outputs.
