We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Assistant

Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch break each day ( 40 hours per week)

From £12.50 per hour (£26,000 per Anum)

Role Summary

Provide professional and efficient administrative support and people management to the warehouse management team, ensuring internal and external customer service excellence. Manage the goods flow pipeline for finished goods from production to dispatch between sites. Core Duties and Responsibilities

- Administer booking in and dispatch processes- Conduct ongoing weekly and monthly stock checks- Investigate stock discrepancies- Collaborate with third-party transport providers- Monitor inbound and outbound delivery schedules- Manage and file paperwork to ensure compliance with ISO and FSC standards- Control daily inventory checks across Roberts Mart- Collect data for KPI reporting- Liaise with the ordering team for PPE- Coordinate waste collection- Support with RTW and investigation interviews- Complete daily/weekly reports- Attend team meetings as required- Conduct verbal and written handovers as requested- Carry out racking inspections (training provided)- Complete near-miss reporting- Maintain a safe working environment- Commit to continuous learning and quality improvement- Foster teamwork and a ‘can do’ attitude Skills, Capabilities, and Attributes

- Preferable inventory experience- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Leadership experience- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload- Problem-solving and proactive thinking- Analytical mindset- Ability to work efficiently alone and as part of a team- Flexibility and attention to detail- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word- IT skills- Willingness to learn and develop within the organisation- Enjoy working to deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment- Experience building relationships and liaising with stakeholders- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail- Enthusiastic, committed, and adaptable to change- Ability to work under pressure- Creativity and a positive work ethic- Teamworking skills- High regard for health and safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental awareness
