Alexander Lloyd are partnered with a Transforming Pensions organisation in the North East on a key DC Pensions Manager hire to operate from the office on a hybrid basis.

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced DC Manager to lead and develop a dedicated Defined Contribution (DC) pensions team. In this role, you will ensure the team complies with internal procedures, pensions legislation, and regulations, including master trust rules. You will also be responsible for overseeing all DC scheme events and projects, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards are consistently maintained. Your leadership will drive the achievement of agreed business objectives and deliver a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing DC pensions team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal procedures, pension regulations, and master trust rules.
  • Manage and oversee all DC scheme events and projects.
  • Drive operational excellence and maintain service and quality standards.
  • Provide effective coaching, development, and learning opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and payment of pensions.

About You:

  • Extensive experience within the pensions industry, specifically DC pensions and master trust governance.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pensions legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous line management experience is advantageous but not essential.
