Pensions Consultant

Are you a pensions expert with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technical accuracy? We are looking for a Technical Services Consultant to provide specialist pensions technical support, ensuring schemes are administered in line with their rules, legislation, and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of scheme rules, pensions legislation, and the broader regulatory environment.
• Assess the impact of legislative or regulatory changes on administration processes and member benefits.
• Support the development of administrative policies and best practices.
• Share expertise with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent understanding and compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A strong understanding of the UK pensions regime, including defined benefit (DB) schemes (knowledge of DC arrangements would be beneficial).
• Experience in pension administration processes, with an appreciation of scheme rules and pensions taxation legislation.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to document findings clearly.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to manage workloads effectively while maintaining high service standards.
• A collaborative approach with a proactive and open mindset.
