Industrial Sewing Machinist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewing machine operation, a passion for working on various projects, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of industrial sewing machines, including but not limited to, lockstitch, overlock, and sergers.
Perform high-quality sewing on a range of materials, including fabric, leather, and other textiles.
Follow work instructions, patterns, and production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized sewing area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of operating multiple industrial sewing machines, including lockstitch and overlock machines.
Strong understanding of fabric types, materials, and their characteristics.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, patterns, and production schedules.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work a flexible shift schedule, including weekends and overtime as required.
