We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Leeds.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, processing, and interpreting data to support our business objectives. Your work will help drive decision making, improve operational efficiency, and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret complex datasets to produce accurate and insightful reports.
- Develop and maintain Excel based models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand data requirements and deliver analytical support.
- Assist in data cleansing, preparation, and transformation to ensure quality results.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
- Continuously seek to improve data processes and identify opportunities for automation.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis tools, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret and present data in a clear, meaningful way.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic and quick learner, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, etc.).
- Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python) is a plus but not essential.
- Previous experience in a data analysis role
