About the Company:My client is a leading consultancy in the planning and infrastructure sector, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for a range of projects, including residential developments, mixed-use sites, data centres, airports, and major infrastructure initiatives. They are seeking an experienced Associate Director Town Planner to join their National Development & Infrastructure Planning Team.

Key Responsibilities as an Associate Director Town Planner:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Direct and mentor junior town planners, fostering their professional growth.
  • Contribute to business planning and lead Chair Planning Meetings, influencing operational discussions.
  • Prepare fee proposals and support tender submissions.
  • Engage in Local Plan consultations, represent the company at Local Plan Examinations, and assist with appeal coordination.
  • Oversee projects of varying sizes, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified MRTPI or relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience in large energy and infrastructure projects, including Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Proven track record in delivering sustainable and commercially viable consultancy services.
  • Strong financial and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
