Salary: 23,000 - 35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role
My client is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join their dynamic team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking consultancy that integrates planning, architecture, and urban design to create vibrant and lasting developments.
As a Graduate Town Planner, you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, from large-scale masterplans to smaller, bespoke developments. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in planning applications, site assessments, local plans, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
Conducting research on planning policies and development regulations
Supporting the planning team with site appraisals and feasibility studies
Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients
Assisting in the preparation of planning reports and documents
Requirements:
A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field
A strong understanding of UK planning regulations and policy
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
