About My Client:My client is a leading UK provider of care homes, with over 30 years of experience. They are known for creating homes that deliver the highest quality of care. With numerous awards recognising their efforts, they are now expanding and seeking three Graduate Town Planners to join their team in Leeds.

Role Overview:As a Graduate Town Planner, you will support the senior planning team through all stages of the company's development projects. You will gain hands-on experience in site evaluation, planning applications, and liaising with local authorities. This role provides the opportunity to progress quickly, with the potential to manage your own applications as your experience grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating potential sites for care home development.
  • Research and assess site suitability (e.g., population density, transport links, local amenities).
  • Support the preparation of planning applications and reports.
  • Work closely with senior planners and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Gain exposure to all stages of the planning and development process.
  • Take on more responsibility as you develop, with the opportunity to manage your own applications.
  • Contribute to maintaining the company's 98% planning success rate.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in Town Planning, Geography, or a related field.
  • Some relevant work experience in planning or development is desirable.
