I am working with a growing energy and renewables consultancy who are looking for a senior or principal town planner to join their team in their Leeds office on a full time hybrid basis.
Â
You will be working on a whole range of projects however being an energy and renewables consultancy, Â the projects will focus mainly on the energy and large infrastructure projects with some waste management, mineral and commercial schemes.
Â
You will be required to co-ordinate, and prepare planning applications and environmental impact assessments, develop relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders and local communities.
You will also be required to manage sub-consultants, undertake site appraisals, and provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients at senior levels.
Â
The successful applicant will ideally be RTPI qualified with a Degree / Masters planning qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience gained preferably in the energy, waste, minerals commercial and residential sectors.
