We are currently seeking a Senior Town Planner to join a growing and forward-thinking team in a well-established consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a wide variety of planning projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Provide strategic advice on planning applications, appeals, and development strategies.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor junior planners, supporting their professional development.
  • Conduct site assessments, prepare reports, and manage planning applications through to approval.
  • Work closely with local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
What We're Looking For:
  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field (MRTPI preferred but not essential).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in town planning within the UK.
  • Solid knowledge of UK planning policy and procedures, with the ability to navigate complex regulations.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
