Bennett and Game currently have the pleasure of representing an employed owned, leading construction company, assisting with their search for an experienced Landscape Architect. Across their 5 offices, our client has built an outstanding reputation, specialising within energy infrastructure, working on a handful of waste, mineral and commercial schemes.

Working on a UK wide basis the successful Landscape Architect will have the benefit of travelling with the position, hybrid/remote working, a competitive salary ranging up to £45,000, private healthcare and extensive progression.

Landscape Architect Job Overview

  • Undertake Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments (LVIA) and Zone of Theoretical Visibility (ZTV) analysis, and prepare relevant reports for planning applications and Environmental Statement
  • Conduct site surveys and analysis work for Landscape Planning Projects - review of visual and landscape receptors
  • Prepare plans, illustrative materials, and graphic presentations to accompany reports and studies
  • Liaise directly with internal team and clients and accurately interpret their instructions
  • Execute landscape design tasks (larger scale master planning / softworks / mitigation design, generally not detailed landscape / urban design)
  • Present design concepts to clients, planning officers, and other stakeholders
  • Assist in project management and coordination, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  • Support the discharge of landscape linked planning conditions, e.g. the production of landscape management and maintenance plans


Landscape Architect Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience carrying out LVIA's
  • Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ideally chartered status, CMLI membership
  • Experience working on LVIA projects with an interest in landscape planning
  • Full UK driver's license and access to personal transportation
  • Familiarity with GIS software, NBS and planting design software
