The Role: Clinical Negligence Solicitor
As part of the Clinical Risk team, you will manage a high-quality caseload of defendant clinical negligence matters. Clients include NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, medical defence organisations (MDUs), independent healthcare providers and medical malpractice insurers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a varied and complex caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims
- Draft pleadings, witness statements and letters of response
- Engage in face-to-face negotiations, claim mediations and counter-schedule preparations
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with 0–5+ years PQE (all levels will be considered)
- Background in defendant or claimant clinical negligence or defendant insurance litigation
- Experience with NHS Resolution panel firms is advantageous but not essential
- A solid understanding of NHS protocols, KPIs and commercial drivers is a plus
