A new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Insurance Solicitor to join a top tier, international law firm in their Property Damage team in Leeds.This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly-regarded team with a strong presence on the Commercial Insurance market. It also presents the window to progress and move up the ranks, completely supported by them team and firm. The work falls into three broad categories: (i) subrogated recovery claims (typically over £250,000); (ii) defendant public liability property damage claims; and (iii) policy coverage both advisory work and disputes.As part of the Property Damage team, you will be handling a varied caseload such as fires, floods, subsidence and escapes of water generally upwards of £250k. You will also have the opportunity to assist a partner on higher value claims to include multi-million-pound matters. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months' previous experience of handling, or assisting on, Property Damage/insurance claims.
