Contentious Construction In-House Solicitor

Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Salary: Circa £56-70K + 10% Car Allowance
We are seeking an In-House Solicitor specialising in Construction Disputes to work with our well-known client based in Leeds. They specialise in managing high-end global construction projects, offering great quality work while maintaining a friendly, family team feel. The role will focus primarily on managing contentious construction matters, as well as responsibilities in professional indemnity, and dealing with the entire disputes process. The client is seeking someone ambitious and driven who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle a variety of cases in areas such as property litigation, commercial litigation, insolvency litigation, and intellectual property litigation.
- Work on commercial contract disputes, shareholder disputes, property litigation, contentious probate, specialist tax dispute advice, and intellectual property disputes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Advising the company on contentious issues and matters and providing suggestions to mitigate risk.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years PQE
- Experienced in construction disputes, contentious matters, and professional indemnity.
- Able to work on different projects simultaneously.
- Excellent technical knowledge in dispute resolution.
- Strong client relationship-building skills.
