Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to join a manufacturer in Leeds. Known for its high-quality, handcrafted products, this role will be critical in managing a small team and ensuring that their bespoke products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Reporting into the Operations Director, the role will have full responsibility for quality control, implementing ISO9001 across production and working cross-functionally to improve processes. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the QA Manager to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and consistency
  • Assist with external product testing, ensuring all products are built to exact specifications
  • Support the commercial and compliance teams in resolving potential supply chain, quality, or manufacturing issues that may affect delivery performance
  • Maintain, audit, and cross-reference product specifications to ensure they are manufactured to the correct standards
  • Provide leadership in implementing quality control processes and best practices across the site
  • Create and deliver toolbox talks related to Quality Control and store them for future use
  • Support the NCR/8D process by analysing non-conforming products and driving corrective actions
  • Oversee incoming goods checks, ensuring materials meet required specifications
  • Assist with new product development, ensuring all products are designed for sustainable, high-quality manufacture
