Attendance Officer – Leeds - September 2024

Are you an experienced schools’ administrator or pastoral worker looking for a new position for September 2024 and interested in working at one of the major secondary schools in Leeds? If so, this could be the ideal role for you.

Reed Education are looking to recruit an Attendance Officer for a school in Leeds to join their pupil support and attendance team on a full-time basis.

The Duties of the Attendance Officer:

• Dealing with parent telephone calls related to pupil absence
• Updating both the digital and paper records for existing students.
• Log student attendance and update registers daily
• Manage staff absences and arrange staff cover
• To be participative in the wider School Administration Team – carrying out duties and tasks, as required, especially at times of busy periods or to cover absence as directed by the Business Manager.

Requirements:

• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one.
• Ideally have experience with iSAMS or SIMS
