Reed Leeds is recruiting on behalf of an established Law firm based in Leeds, our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Secretary to join their probate team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administration, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of probate documents
  • Manage and organise case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates
  • Draft and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in probate cases
  • Maintain and update client records and databases
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail including email
  • Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, managing calendars, and ordering office supplies

Qualifications:
