Job Summary: We are recruiting for a well know law firm based in Leeds for a Secretary to join their Medical Negligence team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and format legal documents, including medical records, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings with clients and medical professionals.
  • Maintain and organise client files, both electronic and physical, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Conduct legal and medical research, gather relevant information, and assist in case preparation.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, handle client inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • File documents with courts and relevant medical boards or agencies.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
