A leading UK law firm with offices located throughout the country, are looking for a Housing Management/Property Litigation paralegal. The role is permanent, and is based in their Leeds office.

The role will involve advising clients (registered Social Housing providers/private landlords) on a broad range of matters including (but not exclusively) anti-social behaviour, unauthorised occupiers and rent arrears. Specific duties include (but are not limited to): drafting and preparing claim forms, preparing trial bundles, liaising with Court prior to trial, and assisting with general paralegal and administrative tasks in an effective and timely manner.

Our client is looking for candidates with excellent administration skills, and experience in conducting effective legal research and drafting. Some experience in a similar role would be ideal, as would evidence of further study, such as LPC, SQE and CILEX. Experience dealing with registered providers and private landlords is also a huge advantage.

Candidates must possess excellent academics, including a good law degree (minimum 2:2) or GDL, and excellent IT and organisational skills. Knowledge of Document Management Systems is preferable.

Candidates must be able to easily commute to Leeds. However, after initial training, the role will be performed on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office).
