Our client, a leading law firm with offices in the heart of Leeds, are recruiting for a Senior Employment Paralegal to join their leading employment team. The role would suit an Employment Paralegal with upwards of 3 years experience handling a full and varied caseload of employment matters, ideally focusing on respondent work.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a number of Solicitors on a caseload of respondent employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, TUPE, restructures, transfers, discrimination, HR advice and redundancies dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documentation, including witness statements, tribunal bundles and settlement agreements.
  • Managing tribunal case administration, including liaising with tribunals, clients and opposing parties.
  • Assisting with workplace investigations, grievance processes and employment policies.
  • Providing expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Upwards of 3 years employment law experience, dealing with both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
  • Respondent experience ideally.
