My client is an ambitious, fast-growing specialist fire protection business working in fire stopping and fire doors, with turn over ofover 10m, and plans to continue this growth for the foreseeable future.
Due to this growth, they're looking to employ a surveying managerto overseethe surveying team that are carrying out fire door, compartmentation and fire stopping surveys on projects across the UK.. You will be responsible for carrying out QA on reports, working with the scheduler to plan works, acting as a point of reference for technical guidance for surveyors, coaching the team, client / team meetings and recruitment.
The business is 3rd party accredited, with existing relationships, framework contracts and an already established team. Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to visit head office near Leeds at least once/ twice per week, with the rest of the time travelling nationwide to see you team / clients.
This is a great opportunity to shape a team, and have a significant impact on the strategy of the team moving forward. You will have experience of either working as a surveying lead / supervisor surveyor orsurveying manager.
